GENERAL NOTES - READ BEFORE MODIFYING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The quality and content of your Terms and Conditions (T&C) are extremely important. This document represents the sole contract between the merchant and the buyer.
ATTENTION: Transactions between businesses are covered by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 (UCTA). Any missing information or unfair clause added to your terms and conditions that is meant to protect you, but proves to be inapplicable, etc., may harm you in the case of dispute or litigation.

- The right to withdrawal (7 days from receipt of goods), refund deadline (30 days), state of goods, etc. are fundamental BUYER rights. Do not modify them or your clauses will become null and void.
Notes About Sales Periods:
- The idea behind sales periods is simple: If a product is on sale, it means that during a given period of time the price is more attractive than during another period of time. Be wary of permanent sales!
- When you run a sale, make sure you indicate the start and end dates of the validity of the sale.
Any purchase of goods from the site www.capelcamping.ie or www.capelcamping.com (hereafter THE MERCHANT SITE) requires the customer to consult and accept these terms and conditions. The click validating the order implies full acceptance of these terms and represents the customer's "digital signature".
|Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
|Shipping And Handling If we receive your order before midnight on a week day (except Fridays), we aim to process it the following day.
For orders processed on, Saturdays and Sundays, processing commences the following Monday. We aim to despatch these orders on Monday and Tuesday. However, please note that during periods of very high demand it may not be possible for all orders to leave us on the Monday for next day delivery and you may have to wait an extra 24 hours for the despatch of your goods.
Please watch for email confirmation from our Customer Services team with regards to when your order has been dispatched to you. Our couriers Fastway collectat 11 am. every week day morning and deliver between 8.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. the following day (except Saturdays).
We cannot leave a parcel at an address unless it can be signed for. If there is nobody at the address when we arrive, don't worry, Fastway will leave their calling card asking you to call their local depot to arrange an alternative delivery time and date . You will have 5 days within which to contact Fastway before they send the goods back to us. If they do send the goods back but you still require them, we will have to charge you 10 euro for handling and re-delivery.
Customers should note that while we and our courier partners will always attempt to deliver according to service schedules, unforeseen circumstances can always intervene and we cannot be held liable for any subsequent service breakdown.
|Delivery Schedule At present, please allow up to 24hrs for us to process your order. Once we have processed your order, assuming your goods were in stock when you ordered, selecting our "Standard delivery" at checkout will mean that we will be able to promptly whisk your goods from our warehouse by 5.00 p.m. and be out delivering between 8.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. the following day. This service will cost 6 euro for Dublin deliveries and 10 euro nationwide or free post on orders over 60 euro. E-mail for uk and international deliveries.
Please ensure that someone is at home or your place of work to sign for the delivery. If no one is available to sign, we will merely take the consignment back to the local depot and post you a card giving details of the consignment number, the depot address and telephone number to call. Please note that we don't deliver on weekends.
|Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
|Tax Charges For orders made from the Ireland and NI, 21% VAT is added.
|Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
|Guarantee Shopping at Capel Camping is 100% SAFE, SECURE and EASY. We have taken great care to ensure that you are confident in buying at our store . This web site uses a secure payment gateway for the collection of your card details. Worldpay, our payment gateway, has been approved by RBS to facilitate Internet transactions on our behalf. Similarly CAPEL CAMPING has been given authority by Streamline and The Royal Bank of Scotland to take card payment. All the information you pass at the payment page (including your credit or debit card numbers) are encrypted. The information is then taken off the internet and passed to the bank via a private link. The information you pass at the payment page is not held in clear text on any web site involved in this process. So now you know you're safe to buy, so go on - go MAD, TREAT YOURSELF, and then relax and leave the rest to US.

|Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. We want you to be 100% satisfied with any purchase order placed with us. Therefore if you wish to return an item for whatever reason you may contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org within seven days stating the reason for return.
Goods can be returned for a full refund if they are faulty after inspection and approval by us or if the wrong item has been dispatched.
If the goods have been dispatched as ordered, they can be returned for a refund, but only for the cost of the goods if they have incurred a delivery charge. All returns must be organised within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused and still have their original packaging and labelling attached. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. The card used for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount (less any delivery charge paid where appropriate.) Any footwear returned to us must be in its original condition.
